THE BRIEF

This project aimed to develop a product or touchpoint that would help an established brand expand into a new market and elevate their brand presence. Union Binding Company is renowned for producing some of the highest-quality snowboard bindings in the industry, but they currently lack a Step-On Binding system in their product lineup. By partnering with Burton Snowboards and leveraging their advanced Step-On technology, Union could create a mutually beneficial collaboration that enhances both brands. Since Union does not manufacture boots, it would be crucial to secure a boot partner that incorporates compatible technology, ensuring seamless integration within their system for a unified experience across both bindings and boots.
